CELEBRATIONS
ANNIVERSARY
For this month of November, we are commemorating the Seventh Year Anniversary of the "killing"
of our CORPS '98 BATCH but we have definitely proven that we are truly united not only as a para-military
unit but also as brothers and sisters - a family.
CORPS G1 and 4th Bat. Cmdr. United in Matrimony
Last August 21 was a celebration of Love when our
Corps G1 Dunmille Ortile andth Batallion Commander Jennylyn Trinidad
were joined in matrimony at our beloved San Roque Parish Church at Pateros.
Reception was followed at the Artist's Venue at the Makati Park.
Among the Sponsors are our
former Assistant Commandant George Alcantara and former St. Andrew Adviser Erlinda Jarabo as witnesses or popularly known as Ninong and Ninang,
our Corps Ex-O was the Best Man and fellow batchmate Pauline Graciano was the Maid of Honor.
Graced by the Sword Sponsors of Dong's P.M.M.A. Alma Mater, the event was a spectacle of Love,
mized with Traditional Church Wedding and the gallant of Military Traditions.

CORPS '98 ALSO HAS ITS OWN SHARE OF MERITS
When one of our Mistah, 1PL Liezl Mendenilla's name was posted on
Pateros Catholic School's giant bulletin board congratulating her on passing the recent board exam for engineers.
Congratulations Liezl, CORPS '98 is proud of you.
A CORPS '98 MISTAH IS NOW A 1ST LT. P.M.A.er MISTAH

with a rank of 1st Lt. He is now affiliated in Public Service being under the roster of the Philippine Navy.

AS YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED,
there is a background image in this part of this webpage.
This is actually a comment and review of the C.A.T. Cadets and Cadettes of Batch 1997-1998.
All commentary and review papers was saved by Corps G5/C.M.O. Doggs Tuazon but due to the course of time,
the original copies are not in good condition anymore as you can see in the background.
The comment and review shown in the background was actually from a Caddette belonging to the Fourth Batallion.
Being anonymous, this may have came from 1P.L. Liezl Mendenilla's Platoon.
If you can remember, on the last training day of the 4th Year Students taking up C.A.T. Course,
we required them to write on a piece of paper, without writing the name of the reviewer,
their comments and review on the Corps Staff and the Batallion they belong to.
On every month's edition of our website, we will feature each comments and review of our batchmates.
If you want to view the whole page of the commentary and review of an anonymous Cadette,

Welcome to
nov.8k.com the exclusive website of
CORPS '98.
The Alumni Organization of
Pateros Catholic School, Citizen Army Training, CORPS 1997 ~ 1998.
Many are wondering why our Website's U.R.L. or Web Address is www.nov.8k.com
The Web Address was actually brought out because of the past experiences of CORPS '98
where our MISTAHs had proven their unity and coherence despite the turbulence they have encountered.
Our MISTAHs had been demoted from their positions from the occurence of an unfateful event that happened
last NOVEMBER 8, 1997 - the day where our MISTAH was, figuratively speaking, KILLED.
nov.8k.com or november 8 killed
As you can see, our website has its new introduction page where pictures of past galore are presented.
The color scheme of the website has a minor change where white is the background color of the webpage's main body.
This was done because CORPS '98 is under the Naval Reserve Command and white is the color of the Philippine Navy.
The color green was preserved because this is our Alma Mater's color.
The color gold was also preserve because CORPS '98 is the golden corps that used the GOLDEN GALAS.
For your information, CORPS '98 was the second to the last batch that used the Traditional 20 Years old Golden Galas.
The C.A.T. Unit of Pateros Catholic School now sports GREEN GALAS.
On the Right side are the colors of the Philippine Flag because being a para-military organization, patriotism is one of our values.
